Will Knox LAc
Will has been practicing acupuncture in Boise since 2015. For over six years, he worked at St. Luke’s Cancer Institute, helping patients maintain and improve quality of life while navigating the difficult journey through cancer treatment. He is also a Diplomate of Chinese Herbology and has extensive training in pharmacology and herb-drug interactions. He is very excited to be serving the wider Boise community.
Will specializes in treating mental health disorders like anxiety and depression. Often this is the root cause for issues like chronic pain, headaches, GI issues, insomnia and low energy that patients initially seek treatment for. In an increasingly tense world, more people are seeking help for mental health issues than ever, and he feels this is where he can provide the greatest benefit to his patients.
Will enjoys working with people who are hoping to get to know themselves on a deeper level. Acupuncture is a medicine that is nourishing for the body and helps us to handle our lives in a more graceful way. It is a tool that can take us into deeper parts of ourselves. While treating aches, pains and stressors can be a part of that process, Will really hopes to to explore the deeper causes and conditions that create suffering in our lives; to bring those to light so they can be faced and released.
While working at St. Luke’s, Will also acquired years of experience treating peripheral neuropathy, something that he has become passionate about. A pervasive condition in our culture, he is happy to offer some relief in what can be a debilitating ailment.
